About ISO/IEC 27001:2022
The current edition is ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Its clauses set out how an information security management system (ISMS) must work: context, leadership, risk assessment and treatment, support, operation, performance evaluation and improvement. Annex A lists 93 controls in four themes: organisational, people, physical and technological.

Common questions
How do the ISO 27001 Lead exams work?
Lead Implementer is awarded for passing the Foundation and Practitioner exams; Lead Auditor for Foundation and Auditor. Foundation is 50 multiple choice questions in 60 minutes, the others 100 questions in 120 minutes. The exams are included in the package.
Does this certify my organisation for ISO 27001?
No. This is a personal certification that you are competent in the standard. An organisation is certified separately, by an accredited certification body auditing its ISMS.
How long is the certificate valid?
Certi-Trust certificates are valid for 3 years and kept current with at least 20 CPD hours a year.
